Therapy, like running a marathon, demands persistence and effort.
We offer individualised therapy services through our multidisciplinary staff of Speech-Language Pathologists, Behavioural Consultants, ABA Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other rehabilitation Therapists. Our professionals are licenced to practise in Ontario after being registered with their respective colleges.
Seema Shah, the enthusiastic founder of Kick Start Therapy, a paediatric speech therapy practice in Southern Ontario, is a mother of two. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist who received her schooling from the University of Mumbai in India. Knowing her basic personality as a compassionate, kind, and giving person, her elder brother motivated and guided her to become a speech-language pathologist.
Seema worked for almost ten years with several organisations before starting her own private practise in 2009. These included Preschool Speech and Language Initiatives in York Region, Erinoakkids, and school health support services. She specialises in dealing with children of all ages and their families, offering carers language stimulation tactics via play and daily routines.
